I have a 2011 Vw Jetta 2.5 engine, my a/c is not working I replace the solenoid valve on the compressor but still not working, I put on a scanner and the result was that the compressor was command off d because there is not enough refrigerant pressure.
But using the gages the refrigerant pressure on the high side is ok, in fact is higher than normal
    What can I do?
I will really appreciate your opinion on this mater.

    Thanks for the help

    1. Hi Luis,
Based on the information you have provided, it sounds like the compressor clutch is not engaging. This can be caused by a number of things, including a faulty solenoid valve, a low refrigerant charge, or a problem with the compressor itself.

Since you have already replaced the solenoid valve, and the refrigerant pressure is normal, the most likely cause is a problem with the compressor. However, it is still possible that there is a problem with the electrical system or the refrigerant lines.

To diagnose the problem, you will need to take your car to a qualified mechanic. They will be able to use specialized tools and equipment to test the compressor and the rest of the air conditioning system.

      I hope this helps!
